Bacon Wrapped Scallops

If you love Scallops, you will love this Bacon Wrapped Scallops recipe. It’s very easy to prepare and takes no time to cook. I prefer to use Bay Scallops, because they’re the larger variety than the Sea Scallops.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 ½ pounds of Bay Scallops
  • Bacon (1/2 lb)
  • Garlic powder
  • White Pepper
  • Butter (Just enough to coat the cookie sheet)

Directions

  • Pre-cook bacon, but don’t cook it fully or to a crisp.
  • Wrap each Scallop with bacon and use a toothpick to hold.
  • Place Bacon Wrapped Scallops in a cookie sheet coated with butter.
  • Sprinkle a little Garlic Powder and White Pepper on each Scallop.
  • Pre-heat oven at 375 degrees.
  • Cook Scallops for 30 to 35 minutes.

One pound of Bacon Wrapped Scallops serves 3 to 4 people.
