Lemon Butter Tilapia - Pre-cooked

I love all types of fish, because most fish are low in calories, healthy and delicious. This Tilapia recipe is no different and it’s absolutely easy to prepare. This recipe takes less than 20 minutes to prepare and only 14 to 16 minutes to cook.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Tilapia (frozen or fresh) thinly sliced
  • 1/2 to 1 whole lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (scraping the Rhine from the lemon)
  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped or minced
  • 1/4 cup Parkay fat free spray butter
  • A pinch each of salt and pepper (I use sea salt or kosher salt and a peppercorn grinder)

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and pour on fish.
  • Spread mix around so all the fish is coated.
  • Make sure to preheat oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes before putting fish in.
  • Bake Tilapia at 350 degrees for approximately 14-16 minutes uncovered.

Serve and enjoy!
