Pasta with Veggies in a Garlic Butter Sauce

The name says it all and this Pasta recipe is very satisfying, healthy and easy to make. The garlic butter sauce is made with fat free butter spray and your taste buds will not know the difference.

Pasta with Veggies in a Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 box angel hair pasta (or any pasta you prefer) I use DreamField brand
  • 1/2 a cup fat free spray butter
  • 2-3 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1 red pepper sliced
  • 1/2 -1 zucchini sliced
  • 1/8 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small head of broccoli (I cut off the stems and only use the head of the broccoli) if they are big pieces cut them in half

Directions

  • In a frying pan add the butter, garlic and all the veggies.
  • Saute until they are cooked.
  • Cook the pasta as per the directions on the box.
  • Strain pasta well.
  • Put pasta and veggies with butter in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Mix in Parmesan cheese and serve.

It’s light and taste delicious!

    Love this dish.Colorful and nutritious.Could be a main dish or a side one.

    Hey, im a big fan of Garlic and this recipe looks absolutly delicious. What if I added some Olives with it, do you think it would goes good with this recipe?

      You can try it, but I would use Kalamata olives.

        Ahh ok than, just googled for the Kalamata Olives and they are pretty easy to find around here. Ill give it a try.
