Sausage Stuffing Recipe
Thanksgiving has passed, but you don’t have to wait a year to enjoy this Italian style stuffing. This Sausage Stuffing recipe will have you going for seconds and even thirds.
Ingredients
- 2-3 pieces of celery from stalk (coarsely chopped)
- 1-2 small to medium sized white onions (coarsely chopped)
- 1 bag unseasoned stuffing
- 2 packages Jimmy Dean’s regular breakfast sausage (the kind in the roll)
- 1-2 eggs
- Italian parsley (flat parsley)
- 1 can chicken broth
Directions
- In a large skillet or pot Cook sausage just enough to break it apart.
- Add in onions and celery.
- Cook until onions and celery are soft and sausage is brown and almost fully cooked.
- Add in egg and parsley and cook for about a minute just until egg is cooked.
- Set aside and let cool, add in stuffing and some of the chicken broth just enough to moisten.
- Put the stuffing in an oven safe dish cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
- When you check the stuffing and it looks dry, you can add some more of the chicken broth to keep it from getting to dry.
Serve and enjoy!

This will be Saturdays dinner lol

Enjoy it and let me know how it turns out.
