Steak Pizzaiola Recipe
This Steak Pizzaiola Recipe is Delicioso! That’s Italian! This recipe is easy to prepare and the whole family will love it. You can serve this with Italian bread for dipping and your favorite bottle of wine.
Ingredients
- 4-6 cubed steaks (I use 6 so I have leftovers for lunch the next day)
- 3 garlic cloves peeled and sliced
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes (I like Contadina brand)
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ to 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (you only want just enough to brown garlic)
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Directions
- In a large skillet brown your cubed steaks.
- Salt, pepper, and add some garlic powder on the steaks on both sides.
- When they are brown on both sides remove them from the skillet.
- Drain any fat that is in the skillet (don’t wash skillet).
- Add olive oil, garlic oregano, and Italian seasoning.
- Fry garlic until it’s lightly brown.
- Remove skillet from stove (let it cool down a little so when you add tomato’s It doesn’t splatter everywhere or burn your tomato sauce).
- Stir in crushed tomatoes.
- Add cubed steaks back in the skillet and cover. Simmer on low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. (You want your steaks to be tender)
- If your sauce is to watery take lid off and let it reduce some before serving.
- Serve with some sauce on each steak.
Enjoy!

Wow, this one thing I’ve never had but love ALL of the ingredients so must try for my family. Now I need to learn to start waiting for your recipe before going to the supermarket each week!
