Stuffed Mushrooms Italian Style

Best Stuff Mushroom Recipe

Stuff Mushrooms

My family has served Stuff Mushrooms on Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember, along with all the other great dishes. You don’t need to wait once a year to enjoy this delicious appetizer. It’s simple to prepare and cook.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of whole white mushrooms
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh garlic (About 3 to 5 cloves chopped)
  • A sprinkle of Parsley
  • Add enough oil to make moist about an 1/8 cup (if not moist enough add water until contents are moist and sticking together)
  • Use some stems from mushrooms chopped fine

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Stuff each mushroom.
  • Put a little drop of olive oil on top of each mushroom.
  • Preheat oven @ 350 degrees.
  • Bake @ 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until tender (The tops will start to brown).

This is my Mama Jovine’s recipe, enjoy!

How can you say this is “Italian Style” when the first ingredient is cheese puffs…

      Brandon,

It is different, but that’s what makes it so good. Its not like chop meat is Italian.
