- Rinse chicken and put in a Crockpot or slow cooker.
- Mix taco seasoning with 1 cup of water and pour over chicken.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
- When chicken is fully cooked.
- Make your salad with the rest of the ingredients.
- You want to crush the Doritos before adding them to the salad.
- Add enough of the Caesar dressing to taste (don’t drowned your salad).
- Mix salad well.
- Remove chicken from Crockpot place on a cutting board and pull apart (shred) with a fork.
- Spoon some salad in a bowl and place some chicken on top and serve.
You can also use ground beef (95% lean) by applying the same ingredients, but cook it according to the directions on the package of the taco seasoning.
You can also cook the chicken the same way to make tacos.
Enjoy!

Really this salad can be a main dish, it has everything.
Although I love beef, I think that this chicken version is more delightful

Gera,
I serve as a main dish, because it has so much in it and it’s very filling.
I am newly a vegetarian. Do you have vegetarian alternative for this mexican recipe?
