Victoria’s Homemade Pizza
There’s nothing like watching a football game and eating pizza and drinking beers. Here’s an easy pizza recipe even the kids will want to make. I have included both cheese pizza and pizza with pepperoni.
Ingredients
- 2 Rolls of Pizza dough (You can find it at your local grocery store. (I use Pillsbury pizza dough).
- 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
- 4 tbsp of oregano
- 2 tbsp of black pepper
- 1 large bag of shredded mozzarella (Skim Milk preferred)
- Non Stick spray
- 1 bag of pre-cut or ½ of stick of pepperoni sliced thin
Directions
- Cook crushed tomatoes in a medium pot for 30 minutes on low heat stirring occasionally.
- Pre-heat oven at 425 degrees.
- Use two 11” wide by 17” long pans.
- Spray both pans with non-stick spray.
- Spread dough to edges of flat pans.
- Add tomato sauce spreading thoroughly across dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese covering dough, but leave 1 inch from edges.
- Sprinkle 2 tbsp of oregano for each pizza. (I like a lot of oregano for taste).
- Sprinkle 1 tbsp of black pepper for each pizza.
- On one pizza add pepperoni across pizza spacing them at least 1 inch apart.
- Place pizza pans in oven and cook for 12 to 14 minutes or until crust is browning.
- Slice and serve.
Enjoy!

That looks so yummy! Nowadays my boys want green (bell) peppers, onions, and mushrooms on their pizza too. Would I saute those vegetables lightly before putting them onto the pizza and into the oven, or just put them onto the pizza raw before baking the whole thing?

Christie,
I would saute them, but don’t cook them fully as they will be in the oven as well. I hope the boys enjoy the pizza and also let them make the pizza with you.
Just found this recipe while browsing. I like how much black pepper you use!! Yum.
